Vans shoes are founeded by Paul Van Doren with his partners Jim Van Doren, Gordy Lee and Serge DElia in Southern California, their first starting bussiness day was on 15 March 1966. Vans shoes are started with a simple idea to make and sell to the coustomers without any one in middle. They started with three modules on their first day in Anaheim, California, but they are only the display shoes and the rest in the store where empty because they want to make it to look like shoes store.
On the first day 12 coustomers came to buy the shoes then the Paul and Gordy asked them to come in the afternoon to pick their shoes and prepared the shoes by afternoon, when they returned to pick shoes they needed some changes in that so again Paul and Gordy asked they to come on next day.
Their first module was diamond pattern with the sole accorss entire bottom, then they have added vertical lines on them with the coustomers request. skateboarders and skaters began to wear vans shoes from 1976 and asked to combine different colour onthem, then vans came with different era in march 19,1976 with red and blue authentic shoes which was made by two professional skaters, Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta.
The craze was spread on when it was wore by Jeff Spicol in the movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High".
At present the Vans shoes collection increased to 60 styles from classic deck, slip-ons skateboard shoes, snowboard boots and sandals. They distibute across 190 companys owened retail and outlets.
